Holidaze Day Camp - Youth Registration

Cost: $80 plus GST

Registration Opens: March 12, 2025 at 12:30pm Pacific

Registration Deadline: April 1, 2025 or when full 

Please note: This is a WEST COAST AREA (WCA) CAMP

West Coast Area (WCA) members will be given priority and can register until April 1, 2025 before the remaining spaces will be open to members outside of West Coast Area.
West Coast Area (WCA) is the following communities: Burnaby, Vancouver, Richmond, Tsawwassen, Ladner, and New Westminster

Holidaze Day Camp will be hosted at beautiful Camp Olave in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast. Campers will meet new Guiding friends and share in the fun and adventure of camping at one of the most picturesque, oceanfront camps in Canada. Campers may come individually or with a friend. Sparks and Embers will spend the day exploring and get a taste for camp. The program includes archery, crafts, hiking, exploring the seashore, and many more exciting activities. 
Transportation to and from the Sunshine Coast (including ferry fares and school bus shuttling between Camp Olave and the Langdale Ferry Terminal) is included in the camp fee.
Campers will need to be dropped off and picked up at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry terminal. 

Camp fee includes:

• Transportation to/from Horseshoe Bay to Camp Olave. 
• Lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day
• All program activities and supplies

*Camp T-Shirt can be purchased for an additional $12 (optional)*

Campership / Subsidy towards camp fee: 

If your camper has additional fundraising or subsidy funds that you are using towards your camp payment, you can select to pay the deposit ($10 plus full tax amount) now to hold your camper's spot. You will be contacted by the event coordinator to confirm details of your additional funds and be provided the process for final payment. 

Please note: Holidaze camp does not provide camperships to families, as they have limited funds. 

Please reach out to your local Unit, District, or Area to see if there are campership funds available for your camper. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

Options at Registration: 

"WCA Youth" - this selection is for youth who attend Girl Guides in West Coast Area. These cities are Burnaby, Vancouver, Richmond, Tsawwassen, Ladner, and New Westminster.
If you choose this option and are not registered in West Coast Area Girl Guides, your registration will be removed and added to the waitlist. 

"Non-WCA Youth" - this selection is for youth who do not attend Girl Guides in West Coast Area.
This is a waitlist and youth will be admitted into the camp on a first-come-first serve basis if there is room available after April 1, 2025. Youth will be notified in order of their registration time.
