Calgary Area has partnered with The University of Calgary's WISE organization (Women in Science and Engineering) for an amazing STEM event for Embers and Guides. 

Girls in Science Fall Fest brings Girl Guides in Ember and Guide level branches from across the city together to learn about science and engineering, with an autumn twist. From apple volcanoes, to leaf chromatography and pumpkin circuits, youth will hone their science knowledge, learn about the importance of promoting inclusivity and diversity in STEM, and enhance connections with their Girl Guide and Calgary community. 

The event is a green level event and Guiders should complete Safe Guide paperwork for their own unit. Feel free to register with maximum number of participants but be prepared to confirm actual numbers by October 11, 2024. This will allow us to open spots to waitlisted units who are interested in attending. 

There are 2 sessions being offered: 10am - 12pm OR 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Payments:

By submitting a registration, you indicate that you've reviewed and agree to the Event Registration Terms & Conditions below. Payment for this event will be made by unified banking transfers. The national office will be processing the transfers on your behalf. Payments do not take place automatically; they will happen at a later date.

Terms and Conditions

Refund policies differ from event to event and are posted on each individual registration form. All requests for a refund must be submitted and approved by the Event Planner of the event - their contact information can be found on the registration home page. If an event is cancelled by the event planner, a full refund will be issued.

Please note: Collection of billing information at the end of this registration form is a technicality - there will be no payment withdrawn at the time of registration. We will be doing Unified Banking transfers at a later date.
