ANY Summer Backpacking Camp 2025

Date: Sunday, August 10 - Saturday, August 16, 2025

Time: 7:00pm Sunday to 5:00pm Saturday

Location: Preparation in Calgary and the trip will be in nearby Rocky Mountains 

Who: Pathfinders, Rangers, & Trex 

Cost: $325 plus tax

Registration Opens: February 3, 2025 at 10:00am Mountain

Registration Deadline: May 16, 2025 at 11:55pm Pacific

 

Looking for a challenge? Show your adventurous side and join us on a four-day backpacking trip. We will meet for two days in Calgary to learn about gear, backcountry camping, navigation, and to plan and prepare for our trip. We will then bus to the trailhead to begin our adventure. 

 

Girls need to have tenting experience, be comfortable being off the grid for 4 days, and be capable of carrying at least 25% of their body weight. 

 

Financial Assistance: If you require financial assistance, please register and pay the 10% registration fee. Then, email Heather at heather.monahan@girlguides.ca for more information on how to complete your registration before May 2.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of the participant cancelling her registration up to three weeks prior to the event, 75% will be returned to the applicant. No refund will be made if cancellation is received with three weeks (21 days) of the event, except upon extenuating circumstances; documentation may be required.
