Join Pathfinders (14 ) and Rangers from across Canada for an immersive Career Compass weekend at the University of British Columbia
Through hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and real conversations with inspiring women mentors, participants will explore post-secondary and career pathways - without pressure to choose a single path.
Career Compass is designed to help girls:
- Build confidence
- Discover interests
- Imagine what's possible after High School
Participants will leave with new connections, momentum, swag and a Career Compass crest.
Please note:
- Due to limited space, priority is given to girls
- Units are recommended to have a minimum of six girls. If fewer than six girls are listed after the deposit deadline, additional girls may be added to fill remaining spaces
- The attendee list can be adjusted unit payment is due, 30 days after the submission.
Registration fees (per person):
1. Full weekend - overnight with Gala: $350/girl plus tax; $157.50 /Adult within ratio plus tax.
Includes:
- Access to all skill-building workshops and inspiring speakers
- On-Campus accommodations
- All meals
- A Friday activity
- Career Compass Gala
2. Full weekend - no overnight: $190/girl plus tax, $85.50/Adult within ratio plus tax
Includes:
- Access to all skill-building workshops and inspiring speakers
- All meals
- Career Compass Gala
3. Saturday only - no gala: $90/girl plus tax; $36/Adult within ratio plus tax
Includes:
- Access to skill-building workshops
- Lunch and beverages
- Inspiring speakers and mentors from a variety of career sectors
Travel subsidies may be available for participants attending the full weekend (with overnight) – more information will be shared soon.

The planning team will handle the following Safe Guide submission for all participants. Guiders will receive pre-filled:
Requirements
For all Responsible Guiders
- Guiders must bring the completed H.1 forms to the event.
- An SG.4 for the activity at the University of Calgary will be shared closer to the date. Guiders must prepare an SG.4 for the travel portions of the activity.
For units attending the overnight component
- Distribute H.2 to the adults attending.
- Bring completed forms to the event.
Unit transfer payment
Within 30 days of registration, Event Staff will initiate the transfer of a non-refundable $ 100-per-participant deposit from your unit. A second payment will be processed in November, and the remaining balance will be transferred in February.
For registrations completed within 30 days of the event, the full registration fee will be transferred at the time of registration. All payment transfers will be processed by the office on your behalf.
