
Get ready for a GIGANTIC Girl Guide event where girls from all branches will come together from across Ontario and Nunavut!
This one-of-a-kind event will take place at Exhibition Place in Toronto on May 24-25, 2024. Take action for a better world, by girls, with members from all over Ontario and Nunavut.
- Design and create in our Arts Pavilion.
- Explore STEM.
- And so much more!
The full event includes a Friday night sleepover the night before the GirlJam main event on Saturday. There is a day-only option for units or individual girls who want to attend the main event on Saturday.

As GirlJam is a girl focused event, Guiders can only attend the event in two ways as a Ratio Guider or as on-site volunteer.
***Please Note - Guiders over ratio will be removed
Ratios for this event are:
Sparks 1:5*, Embers 1:5*, Guides 1:7*, Pathfinders 1:7, Rangers 1:15
*A minimum of 2 Supervisors is required.
*All units must be 51% youth member.

Registration Process:
- Please note that both the adult and youth member names are required at the time of registration.
- If your unit falls within Zone 4 travel when completing the registration form, please list your legal name as shown on your identification (i.e., birth certificate or passport). This applies to both adult and youth registrations.
- When registering, please choose how many adults and how many youth are attending.
Payments
By submitting a registration, you indicate that you've reviewed and agree to the Event Registration Terms & Conditions. Payment for this event may only be made by unit bank transfer. The office will be processing the transfers on your behalf. Payments do not take place automatically; please allow up to 5 days for processing.
Please note: The total on the registration site will display sales taxes based on the full amount. Only the tax amount for each payment will be charged
Safe Guide
- The Safe Guide submission for this event will be handled by the event planning team on behalf of the units participating in the event.
- Guiders are responsible for providing parents/guardians with Day SG.1, Day SG.2, Overnight SG.1, Overnight SG.2, and H.1 forms.
- Guiders are responsible for completing the H.3 Medication Plan and Administration Record.
- Guiders are responsible for ensuring that adult participants receive the H.2 form.
- Guiders must bring completed SG.2, H.1, and H.2 forms to the event.
Guider Responsibilities
Before the event: as noted in the Safe Guide section, Guiders are responsible for distributing and collecting appropriate paperwork for the participants attending from their unit.
At the event: Guiders are responsible for supervising their own unit.
Confirmation
Please provide the SG.1 and SG.2 forms to the parents/guardians of the participants.
Collect the following forms, completed and up-to-date, and bring them with you to the event.
- SG.2 (for girls) - girl participants cannot attend without a completed SG.2
- H.1 (for girls)
- H.2 (for adults)

Please note: This paperwork does not cover transportation arranged by the Guider.
