More Seaside Fun is a week-long summer camp at beautiful Camp Olave, located on the Sunshine Coast. It is for youth campers in the Lower Mainland and around BC! Come and join this team of adult volunteers to create amazing memories for the youth in Girl Guides. 

Patrol Guider Job Description: 

You will be under the direction of the Site Guider and will work together with the other Patrol Guiders. The Patrol Guider is responsible for a patrol of 6 campers for the week. You will travel with the patrol to their assigned activities and oversee their assigned duties. 

You are responsible for waking the patrol in the morning and saying Good Night at the end of the day. When working in the kitchen, you will be working with the Quartermaster to assign each camper a task and support them for that. 

Patrol Guiders must be able to walk the length of the campsite at least 2-3 times per day. Camp Olave has gravel/dirt roads, hiking paths, and uneven ground. There is a long, moderate hill (approx. 10-15min uphill) to some of the activities.

Please note: We are only able to accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free/lactose-free diets. For any other dietary concerns, you are responsible for bringing your own food requirements. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we are limited financially on what we can accommodate overall.
