Core Crew Registration

The Nova Scotia Provincial camp, Discover will take place at Camp Kana'da, a Girl Guide property situated in eastern Nova Scotia about 30 minutes outside of Halifax, bordering on both the sea and a lake. You will have the opportunity to participate in sunrise yoga facing the sea and sunset meditations on the lakeshore.
We are anticipating about 30 patrols comprised of 6-8 Pathfinder and Ranger aged youth and two patrol Guiders from across Canada. Patrol Guiders will be asked to help with one shift of Core Crew duties during the camp. You have the option to register as a patrol or as an individual adult or youth and we will put you in a patrol.
During this weeklong camp, all youth will be given the opportunity to participate in one offsite adventure day of their choosing and one waterfront activity. There will be programming every day and special events. Discover will expand your horizons!
To help make this camp a success, Discover is looking for Core Crew applicants. We are in need of Kitchen support to help cook the Core Crew meals and prepare the packages for the patrol cooking. We are also looking for security and first aid personnel.
There is no charge for a Guider to attend this camp, however, they must arrange their own transportation to and from the camp.
