Nova Scotia Discover 2026 | Patrol Intent to Register


When: Sunday July 12th, 2026 - Saturday July 18th, 2026 
Where: Camp Kanada - Girl Guide Camp
Who: 3rd year Guides (as of September 2025) Pathfinders, Rangers, Trex and Unit Guiders
(All youth need to be a 1st year Pathfinder in September of 2026 and 12 years of age by December 31st, 2026.) 
Cost: $565.22 plus HST per youth ($650.00 total)
Intent to Register Opening: November 23rd, 2024 
Intent to Register Deadline: January 15th, 2025 @ 4:40 P.M. AST

Camp Details: 

- Camping event for Pathfinders through Rangers (Must be 12 years old by December 31st, 2026)
- Prerequisite of 4 nights of tent camping in a group situation
- Patrols will be 6-8 youth with 2 adults
- Registration is by patrol or as an individual. If you register as an individual, you will be matched with a patrol
- Programming will allow youth to select interests and participate in a variety of programs
- Patrols will be doing their own cooking. Food and fuel will be provided.
- Patrols will be sleeping in tents for their week at camp


Future Payment schedule:

Registration requires a $25 non refundable deposit per member by Mar 31, 2025 for Atlantic or June 30, 2025 for other provinces. 

1st payment of $225: July 31, 2025
2nd payment of $200: November 30, 2025
3rd payment of $200: April 20, 2026
