GGC cannot wait to attend the Pride Toronto Parade on June 29! Volunteer to march with your fellow youth members and Guiders. Witness our community taking the city's streets as colorful floats and community partner groups transform Toronto into a display of inclusivity and diversity!
**Please know that the day may involve some nudity and mature themes before registering. Due to the content of the parade and for safety, this event is geared to Ranger age and up (16+).
Please wear your Guiding Uniform as we will be proudly representing GGC!
More information regarding what to bring will be provided in the coming weeks! Thank you so much for joining us; we can't wait to see you there.
Please note that the collection of billing information at the end of the registration form is a technicality. As this is a free event, no payment will be processed.
Volunteer Booth
We are also seeking volunteers to help at our Pride Toronto Street Fair recruitment booth! Participating in Pride is a fantastic opportunity for Pathfinders, Rangers, and adult members to connect with the diverse community and show off what Girl Guides is about. Register by May 30th. We’ll provide the final schedule to recruitment volunteers the week of the event.
Please register here if you are interested in volunteering at the booth.
- This is a green-level activity. Guiders are responsible for their own safe guide paperwork when registering as a unit.
- Please bring with you a completed IR.1, H.1 or H.2
Guider Responsibilities
Before the event: as noted in the Safe Guide section, Guiders are responsible for distributing and collecting appropriate paperwork for the participants attending from their unit.
At the event: Guiders are responsible for supervising their own unit; the event planner is not responsible for their supervision.
