DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Intermediate Tandem Lake Canoe Course 2026 \n  \n When: Saturday August 15, 2026 & Sunday August 16, 2026 \n  \n Time: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. \n  \n Where: Camp Westover Lake \n  \n Who: Rangers & Adult Guiders \n  \n Cost: $175.00 including tax  per person \n  \n Registration Opens: May 4, 2026 at 10 a.m. MT \n  \n Registration Deadline: July 22, 2026 at 11:55 p.m. MT or when full  \n  \n  \n  \n Paddle Canada's Intermediate Tandem Lake Canoe course is recognized as the minimum requirement to take GGC youth canoeing on near-shore, calm waterway with no current. This is a foundational course for other Paddle Canada courses, and requires some basic knowledge of canoeing. It is a two-day course under the direction of a Paddle Canada Instructor, at Calgary Area's Westover Lake Camp. Canoes and safety equipment are on site. This is a wilderness, walk-in camp site with minimal facilities. Dress for the weather including full rain gear. Minimum Requirement to attend this course: Intro to Tandem Lake Canoe Course or equivalent skills.
