DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n Free Being Me Provincial Ranger Sleepover Application \n  \n  \n When: Friday October 16, 2026 - Sunday October 18, 2026 \n  \n Time: 6:00pm Friday - 12:00pm Sunday \n  \n Where: Pinchgut \n  \n Who: 3rd Year Pathfinder &amp; Ranger Aged Youth \n  \n Cost: $60.00 plus tax per Youth \n  \n (No payment is due upon application submission, those who are selected will be contacted with instructions on how to complete payment)  \n  \n Registration Deadline: September 25, 2026 @ 11:55pm NDT \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n  \n 	 \n 		 \n 			 \n 			Join Newfoundland and Labrador Council for our Free Being Me Provincial 3rd Year Pathfinder and Ranger Sleepover! \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Free Being Me (FBM) is a program from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) that promotes body confidence and a world free from appearance-related anxiety. This program helps youth learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies, challenging beauty stereotypes, and advocating for a healthy body image in their friends and communities. \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			This weekend will be full of activities celebrating all the amazing things our bodies can do for us, increasing our self-confidence, making new friends, and sharing in the global guiding sisterhood. We hope your Pathfinders and Rangers can join us! \n  \n  \n 			The registration fee covers all meals, program materials, accommodation, and a Free Being Me badge.  \n  \n  \n 			Transportation to and from this event will NOT be provided.  \n  \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			This event is open to youth members born between 2009 and 2012, who will be between 14 &amp; 17 years old at the time of registration. \n  \n 			 \n 		 \n 	 \n  \n  \n  \n 	 \n 		 \n 			 \n 			Weekend Itinerary: \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Friday: \n  \n 			6:00pm - Arrive at the Sleepover \n  \n 			6:30pm - Group Welcome &amp; Icebreaker \n  \n 			7:00pm - Safety briefing/site tour \n  \n 			7:30pm - Sleepover overview decorating name envelopes \n  \n 			8:00pm - FBM Session 1 (including group norm creation) \n  \n 			9:15pm - Snack \n  \n 			9:45pm - Free Time \n  \n 			10:15pm- Get ready for bed \n  \n 			11:00pm - Lights OUT  \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Saturday: \n  \n 			7:00am- Rise and Shine! \n  \n 			8:00am-9:00am- Breakfast \n  \n 			9:00am-9:30am- Finish getting ready \n  \n 			9:30am-10:45am- FBM Session 2 (starting with an icebreaker game) \n  \n 			10:45am-11:00am- Snack \n  \n 			11:00am- 12:30pm- FBM Session 3 \n  \n 			12:30pm-1:30pm- Lunch \n  \n 			1:30pm-2:00pm- Clean up/Quiet Time \n  \n 			2:00pm-3:30pm Outdoor Activity \n  \n 			3:30pm-4:00pm- Snack \n  \n 			4:00pm-5:30pm- FBM Session 4 \n  \n 			5:30pm-6:30pm- Supper \n  \n 			6:30pm-7:00pm- Clean Up \n  \n 			7:00pm-7:30pm- Prep for FBM Party \n  \n 			7:30pm-9:30pm- FBM Party \n  \n 			9:30pm- Snack \n  \n 			10:00pm- Get ready for bed/Free time \n  \n 			11:00pm- Lights OUT  \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Sunday:  \n  \n 			7:00am- Rise and Shine! \n  \n 			8:00am-9:00am- Breakfast \n  \n 			9:00am-9:45am- Finish packing up \n  \n 			9:45am-11:00am- FBM Session 5 \n  \n 			11:00am-11:15am- Snack \n  \n 			11:15am-11:45am- Closing Ceremony &amp; Awards \n  \n 			12:00pm- Pick Up \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Sleepover Extras:  \n  \n 			In addition to the program, these are some extras Pathfinders and Rangers can expect at camp: \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Bring an Outfit you Feel Confident In! - At the FBM party on Saturday night youth are invited to wear something that makes them feel confident. This could be anything from a formal outfit to pjs; from traditional dress to a dance recital costume. We will start the party by having a fashion show where everyone can walk the runway in whatever outfit they choose. \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Sleepover Challenges - A series of optional challenges that, upon completion, will award the camper a different coloured bead that are then used in completing a hat craft. Try and collect them all! \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Mindful Colouring Sheets &ndash; There will be colouring sheets and markers/paper available for youth to use during quiet/snack time, or in general.  \n  \n 			 \n  \n 			Positive Camper Messages &ndash; We will have envelopes with each youth&rsquo;s name on it. Participants will write positive messages for their fellow campers and place them in the envelops during the weekend. \n  \n 			 \n 		 \n 	 \n
