DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n Who Can Attend:  Sparks, Embers, Guides, Pathfinders, Rangers, Trex, Unit Guiders \n  \n Date: September 25 - 26, 2026 \n  \n Spark Cost (morning only):  $10 Plus HST \n  \n Ember & Guide Cost (day): $22 Plus HST \n  \n Pathfinder / Ranger Cost (overnight): $35 Plus HST \n  \n Adult Cost:  $10.00 Plus HST \n  \n Event Planner:  Genevieve Berube \n  \n Location:  Camp Teka, 143 Grand River St N., Paris, ON N3L 2N9 \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Description  \n  \n  \n Come and join us for this annual fall event at Camp Teka. \n  \n  \n ***NEW this year*** Pathfinders and Rangers can tent camp overnight on Sept 25th!  \n  \n  \n Full day outdoor program will be available for Embers, Guides, Pathfinders, and Rangers \n  \n  \n Morning ONLY program will be available for Sparks. \n  \n  \n DROP OFF INFORMATION   \n  \n Friday overnight campers:  \n  \n Guiders arrive at 6:00pm - drive into camp and follow directions \n  \n Youth arrive at 6:30pm - arrange carpool when possible, drive into camp and follow directions. \n  \n  \n Saturday daycampers:  \n  \n Guiders arrive by 8:00am - (location to be shared within 2 weeks of event)   \n  \n Embers & Guides arrive at 8:00am - 8:15am (location to be shared within 2 weeks of event)   \n  \n Sparks arrive at 8:15 - 8:30am (location to be shared within 2 weeks of event)   \n  \n  \n PICK UP INFORMATION \n  \n Sparks pick up at 12:15pm  (location to be shared within 2 weeks of event)   \n  \n Embers & Guides pick up at 3:15pm (location to be shared within 2 weeks of event)   \n  \n Pathfinders & Rangers pick up at 3:30pm - drive into camp and follow directions \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n What to Bring: \n  \n  \n All day participants should bring a bagged lunch, a full reusable water bottle, a camp hat, situpon or small camp chair, sunscreen, insect repellant, backpack to carry items listed above.   \n  \n Overnight participants (Pathfinder and Ranger) should not bring food into their tents. Food and snacks will be provided as part of the program. Detailed Unit and Personal Kit lists are attached  \n  \n  \n Day Kit List \n  \n  \n Pathfinder / Ranger overnight Kit List \n  \n  \n Safe Guide (green/yellow)  \n  \n  \n  \n 	This day portion of this event is a green level event. The event planning team will make no safe guide submission.  \n 	The overnight is a yellow.  If you are spending the night (before/after the event) you are responsible for your own safe guide forms.   Depending upon the type of transportation used, you may need to complete Safe Guide forms.  \n 	Guiders, please provide parents/guardians with the following forms:  SG.1, SG.2, and H.1 forms.  \n 	Guiders, please distribute the H.2 form to the adult participants.  \n 	Guiders please review the event SG.4. \n 	Guiders, please distribute the H.2 form to the adult participants.  \n 	Guiders must bring completed SG.2, H.1, and H.2 forms to the event. \n  \n  \n OEFA \n  \n  \n This event qualifies for Outdoor Experiences Financial Assistance (OEFA). If anyone in your unit requires assistance, please complete this form. \n  \n  \n Payments \n  \n  \n Unit transfer payment \n  \n  \n By submitting a registration, you indicate that you've reviewed and agree to the Event Registration Terms & Conditions.   \n  \n  \n Within five days of your initial registration, the Event Staff will arrange for a transfer of your deposit from your unit. The deposit is 50% of the registration fee. The final balance transfer will occur within 30 days of the event. If you register within 30 days of the event, the full amount will be transferred from your unit. The office will be processing the transfers on your behalf. \n  \n  \n ***A National staff member will initiate payment, which will be collected via Unit Bank Transfer. The units do not need to take any action. \n
