More Seaside Fun

Who: 2nd year Embers, Guides, Pathfinders, & Rangers
(2006 - 2015 birth years) 

Cost: $550 + GST

Registration Opens: April 15, 2024 at 9:00am PST 

More Seaside Fun is a 7-night camp at Camp Olave on the Sunshine Coast. Youth campers from the Lower Mainland and around BC are invited to explore all Camp Olave offers.
Highlights from previous years have included archery, nature walks, games, crafts, and beach/swimming time.

There is an indoor cabin site for 15 Embers (2015 birth year) and a mixture of huts and platform tent sites for 96 Guides and Pathfinders (2009 - 2014 birth year).  
 

There are 24 spaces for 2nd year Pathfinders and Rangers (2006 - 2010 birth year) who be camping in platform tents. This group will be cooking for themselves and focusing on more camp skills and independence. These Pathfinders/Rangers will have an adventure day trip.

Transportation:

Campers who are coming from homes/communities on the Sunshine Coast - Pick up and drop off will be at Langdale Ferry Terminal. No on-site arrivals will be allowed. 

Campers who are coming from homes/communities in the Lower Mainland or elsewhere in BC - Pick up and drop off will be at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. Campers will be accompanied on the ferry by Adult Guiders to Langdale Ferry Terminal and shuttled to camp by bus. Ferry fares are included in the camp fee. 

Our travel coordinator will be in contact with all campers closer to camp to arrange details. 

Campership / Subsidy towards camp fee: 

If your camper has additional fundraising or subsidy funds that you are using towards your camp payment, you can select to pay the deposit ($55 + full tax amount) now to hold your camper's spot. You will be contacted by the event coordinator to confirm details of your additional funds and be provided the process for final payment. 

Please note: More Seaside Fun camp does not provide camperships to families, as they have limited funds.
