Holidaze Week Camp - Youth Registration

Cost: $475 plus GST (WCA Members)
Registration Opens: March 12, 2025 at 12:30pm Pacific

Please note: This is a WEST COAST AREA (WCA) Camp
West Coast Area (WCA) members will be given priority and can register until April 1, 2025 before the remaining spaces will be open to members outside of West Coast Area.
West Coast Area (WCA) is the following communities: Burnaby, Vancouver, Richmond, Tsawwassen, Ladner, and New Westminster
For over 20 years Holidaze has been West Coast Area's week long summer camp. From morning skit shenanigans, to special events, out-trips, archery, crafts, swimming and more, it's a week of fun and adventure at beautiful Camp Olave in Sechelt, BC.
Youth register as individuals (although friend requests are welcome) and are placed on sites based on the level of Guiding they are in this Guiding year.
Selected Pathfinders and Rangers (2007-2012 birth years) act as counsellors for the Embers and Guides (2013-2017 birth years) and learn leadership skills along the way (apply here to be a counsellor).
Camp fee includes:
- Transportation to/from Camp Olave: including school bus from Burnaby (location TBA) to Horseshoe Bay, ferry fares to the Sunshine Coast, and school bus shuttles between Langdale Ferry Terminal and camp
- All meals and snacks throughout the week
- All program activities and supplies
- Camp T-Shirt and crest
Campership / Subsidy towards camp fee:
If your camper has additional fundraising or subsidy funds that you are using towards your camp payment, you can select to pay the deposit (10% full tax amount) now to hold your camper's spot. You will be contacted by the event coordinator to confirm details of your additional funds and be provided the process for final payment.
Please note: Holidaze camp does not provide camperships to families, as they have limited funds.
Please reach out to your local Unit, District, or Area to see if there are campership funds available for your camper.

Options at Registration:
"WCA Youth" - this selection is for youth who attend Girl Guides in West Coast Area. These cities are Burnaby, Vancouver, Richmond, Tsawwassen, Ladner, and New Westminster.
If you choose this option and are not registered in West Coast Area Girl Guides, your registration will be removed and added to the waitlist.
"Non-WCA Youth" - this selection is for youth who do not attend Girl Guides in West Coast Area.
This is a waitlist and youth will be admitted into the camp on a first-come-first serve basis if there is room available after April 1, 2025. Youth will be notified in order of their registration time.
