Monashee Area - OAL Tent Camping Learning Path

Time: 6 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Sunday

Location: Camp Arbuckle (Lake Country)

Who: Guides, Pathfinders, Rangers and Adult Guiders

Adult Guiders and Rangers across BC are welcome.

Cost: $45

Type of Registration: Individual Registration/Unit Registration (Guide/Pathfinder Patrols must register with Unit Guider)

Registration Open: March 3, 2026 at 9 a.m. PST 

Registration Deadline: May 19, 2026 at 11:55 p.m. PST 

Tent Camping Learning Path (previously OAL 2) includes the following modules in the stream of Outdoor Activity Leadership (OAL) program to prepare you to take your unit overnight camping in tents. 

Modules include Planning and Packing; Tents and Tarps; Kitchen and Cooking; Activities and program; Overnights 

Additional Information:

• Crest will be included. 
• Camp will take place rain or shine 
• Food for the weekend is included - this will be part of the training 
• Unit Kit list will be provided to all registered participants 
• Changes to Patrol Participants up until May 20, 2026 - this is for Area Guiders bringing a patrol. 
• Check with your district regarding reimbursement for Adult Guiders and Rangers upon completion of the training.
• Completed SG2 Permission Forms and H1 Health forms for each youth participant must be snail mailed to arrive at 121 Christie Mountain Lane, Okanagan Falls, VOH 1R3 no later than May 20th, 2026.  You will not be able to substitute for your youth after that date.  If forms are not received, the patrol will be cancelled.
