Description:

 

Join the 62nd Switzerland 2028 Trip unit as we journey to Toronto for the Cirque Du Soleil Girl Guide Day.

Cost includes your entrance to the show (5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.), a crest and a meet and greet with performers after the show (7:30-8 p.m.) as well as bussing to and from the show.

Busing is available from Owen Sound. The bus will leave Owen Sound at 1:30 p.m.

Dinner is not included: We will be dropped off at Humber Butterfly Park for a picnic dinner option or there is food available to purchase onsite.

Participants can register as a unit, or big and littles are welcome to join on their own. Siblings welcome, subject to space availability.

Safe Guide 

  • This is a green-level event.
  • Guiders, please provide parents/guardians with the following forms:  SG.1SG.2, and H.1 forms.

Guider Responsibilities

Before the event

As noted in the Safe Guide section, Guiders are responsible for distributing and collecting appropriate paperwork for the participants attending from their unit. 

At the event 

Guiders are responsible for supervising their unit and ensuring the Safe Guide ratio is met for their unit.

Payments - Unit transfer payment

By submitting a registration, you indicate that you've reviewed and agree to the Event Registration Terms & Conditions.  

Within five days of your initial registration, the Event Staff will arrange for a transfer of your deposit from your unit. The deposit is 50% of the registration fee. The final balance transfer will occur within 30 days of the event. If you register within 30 days of the event, the full amount will be transferred from your unit. The office will be processing the transfers on your behalf.

***A National staff member will initiate payment, which will be collected via Unit Bank Transfer. The units do not need to take any action.

Cancellation Policy
All requests for a refund must be submitted via the Events Request for Change to existing event registration Form A refund, less the 50% deposit, will be issued up until 30 days prior to the event start date. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. After this time, no refunds will be provided without medical documentation, or if extenuating circumstances (e.g., death in the family) apply. Refunds are provided via the same method used to pay for the event. For this reason, if you have paid using a prepaid Visa or Mastercard, we recommend that you retain the card for any future transactions.
